POSITION OVERVIEW

  • Mansfield Speedway is seeking organized, friendly, and customer-focused Camping Check-In Attendants to manage the arrival process for guests staying in our campground during event weekends and special events. Camping Check-In Attendants handle guest check-ins, confirm reservations, issue passes, and provide essential information to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for all campers.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Greet campers and offer assistance throughout their stay
  • Provide directions, campground information, and event details
  • Monitor campground activity to ensure rules and safety guidelines are followed
  • Support guest needs such as locating facilities, resolving minor issues, or answering questions
  • Conduct routine rounds to check campsites, restrooms, lighting, and overall conditions
  • Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or guest incidents to supervisors
  • Assist with campground setup before events (signage, barriers, markers, etc.)
  • Help with cleanup and breakdown following event weekends
  • Work collaboratively with Guest Services, Security, and Operations teams


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least at 18 years old.
  • Customer service or outdoor event experience preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle guest interactions professionally
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Able to walk long distances and lift up to 25–40 lbs
  • Dependable, punctual, and available evenings, weekends, and event days
  • Willingness to enforce campground rules respectfully and confidently


WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Lifting (up to 50 pounds); bending, and reaching
  • Will be required to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Workplace environment can be loud at times especially during races and events

AVAILABILITY:

  • Weekend and evening availability required for scheduled events.
