Rain & Weather Policy

Rain & Weather Policy

1. General Policy

All events held at Mansfield Speedway ("Venue") are rain or shine unless Venue management determines, in its sole discretion, that weather conditions create an unsafe environment for spectators, participants, performers, or staff. The purchaser and/or holder of any ticket, pass, or credential ("Ticketholder") acknowledges that weather conditions are inherently unpredictable and that the Venue may delay, modify, or suspend any event at any time due to weather or related safety concerns. Venue, in its sole discretion and often in consultation with the applicable sanctioning body, will determine whether an event is delayed, postponed, shortened, or cancelled for purposes of this Rain & Weather Policy.

2. No Refunds

Except as expressly stated herein, all ticket , parking, camping, and other event-related sales are final and non-refundable, including but not limited to cancellations, delays, rescheduling, or modifications caused by weather. The Ticketholder understands and agrees that the Venue bears no obligation to issue monetary refunds under any circumstance involving weather. Any remedy offered under this policy, if any, will be in the form of a ticket credit or alternative event access and will have no cash value.

3. Motorsports and Competition Events

For all racing, motorsports, or competitive driving events:

a. The Venue may, at its sole discretion, implement delays, schedule adjustments, track maintenance periods, or shortened program formats due to weather.

b. A race or event will be deemed "official" once halfway point has been completed, or when the applicable sanctioning body declares the event official, whichever occurs first. If any competition, race, or scheduled on-track activity has commenced and is deemed official, the event will be deemed to have been "substantially performed," and no rain check or credit shall be issued.

c. If weather renders the continuation of the event unsafe before any on-track activity has begun or before the event is deemed official, the Venue may issue a rain check valid for the rescheduled date or for an event of equal or lesser value within the same season. Such rain check shall be the Ticketholder's sole and exclusive remedy. Any rain check or ticket credit must be used by the earlier of (a) the end of the then-current race season or (b) sixty (60) days from the date the credit is issued, after which it will expire with no cash value.

4. Concerts, Festivals, and Non-Motorsports Events

For concerts, festivals, expos, shows, and all non-motorsports programs:

a. These events operate rain or shine, and temporary weather-related interruptions shall not entitle Ticketholder to any refund or compensation.

b. If the event is cancelled prior to public gate opening due solely to severe weather, the Venue may provide a credit or rain check to the rescheduled date or a comparable event within the same season. Any such credit must be used by the earlier of (a) the end of the then-current season or (b) sixty (60) days from issuance, after which it will expire with no cash value.

c. If gates have opened and the event has commenced, the event shall be deemed delivered, and no refunds or credits will be issued if weather forces early termination.

5. Seasonal Attractions and Light Shows

a. Seasonal attractions, including holiday light shows, operate during periods of rain, fog, and winter weather.

b. In the event of extreme or unsafe conditions (including but not limited to ice storms, severe winds, or lightning), the Venue may temporarily suspend operations or close for the evening.

c. If the Venue elects to close due to extreme weather, the Ticketholder may reschedule for another available operating time or date at no additional charge. No monetary refund will be provided.

6. Camping and Parking

a. All camping and parking reservations are non-refundable.

b. Weather-related disruptions shall not entitle the Ticketholder to refunds or compensation.

c. The Venue may require temporary evacuation or sheltering for safety; such actions shall not constitute grounds for refunds or credits.

7. Season Passes

If a covered weather event affects one or more races or events included in a season pass, any remedy (if offered) will be in the form of a ticket credit or alternative event access determined by Mansfield Speedway in its sole discretion. Season passes are not eligible for cash refunds or pro-rated refunds due to weather.

8. Eligibility and Proof of Purchase

Only tickets, passes, parking, and camping purchased directly from Mansfield Speedway or our authorized ticketing partners, and accompanied by valid proof of purchase, are eligible for any remedy under this Rain & Weather Policy. Complimentary tickets, promotional tickets, and tickets from unauthorized resellers or third-party brokers are not eligible. Ticketholders must retain their original digital ticket, barcode, or wristband as their "rain check"; lost or destroyed items will not be replaced or honored.

9. Official Communications

Official weather-related decisions and instructions will be announced by Mansfield Speedway on our website (thespeedway.com) and official social media channels. Third-party posts, rumors, or unofficial announcements are not official and are not binding on Mansfield Speedway.

10. Assumption of Risk

By entering the Venue, the Ticketholder acknowledges and voluntarily assumes all risks associated with weather, including but not limited to rain, lightning, wind, heat, cold, snow, or ice. The Ticketholder agrees that the Venue, its owners, affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and representatives shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or disappointment caused by weather or weather-related decisions.

11. Sole Discretion of Management

All determinations regarding weather, safety, event continuation, suspension, rescheduling, or cancellation shall be made at the sole and exclusive discretion of Mansfield Speedway management. Such decisions shall be final and binding.

12. Exclusive Remedy

Where a rain check or credit is offered under this policy, such remedy constitutes the Ticketholder's sole and exclusive remedy, and the Ticketholder waives any claim to additional compensation, damages, refunds, or legal recourse arising out of weather-related disruptions.

13. Integration with Other Policies

This Rain & Weather Policy should be read together with our Refund Policy and Terms of Service, which also govern your use of our websites and attendance at events. In the event of any inconsistency among them, the more restrictive remedy will apply unless we clearly state otherwise in writing for a specific event.

14. Acceptance of Terms

Purchase or use of a ticket, pass, or credential constitutes the Ticketholder's full acceptance of this Rain & Weather Policy and agreement to be bound by all terms herein.
