POSITION OVERVIEW
- Mansfield Speedway is seeking organized, friendly, and customer-focused Camping Check-In Attendants to manage the arrival process for guests staying in our campground during event weekends and special events. Camping Check-In Attendants handle guest check-ins, confirm reservations, issue passes, and provide essential information to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for all campers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Greet guests upon arrival and process campground check-ins efficiently
- Verify reservations, payments, and site assignments
- Issue parking passes, wristbands, maps, and event materials
- Provide guests with rules, policies, and helpful campground information
- Direct campers to their designated sites and assist with navigation as needed
- Answer questions regarding amenities, schedules, and event operations
- Communicate any reservation issues, site conflicts, or concerns to the manager
- Maintain accurate logs, forms, and check-in records
- Assist with campground setup before events and check-out procedures after events
- Support Guest Services and Operations teams during peak arrival times
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least at 18 years old.
- Customer service, admissions, or event check-in experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional during high-traffic arrival periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20–30 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and event days
- Basic computer or tablet skills for handling digital check-ins (training provided)
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Lifting (up to 50 pounds); bending, and reaching
- Will be required to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Workplace environment can be loud at times especially during races and events
AVAILABILITY
- Weekend and evening availability required for scheduled events.
