Camping FAQ and Policies

Everything you need to know before you arrive. Some details are still being finalized and are noted as such below.

Is camping available at Mansfield Speedway?
Yes. Mansfield Speedway offers on-site primitive camping for select events. Camping begins May 28, starting at $40/night.
Where is the campground located?
The camping area is located southeast of the track, within the Speedway property and gated grounds.
What type of camping is offered?
All sites are primitive. There are no electric, water, or sewer hookups at individual campsites. Generator use is permitted.
What size rigs can you accommodate?
The campground accommodates large RVs, campers, trailers, and motorhomes. A campground attendant will help get you parked in your assigned site on arrival.
Can I bring a golf cart, ATV, UTV, or scooter?
Yes. We allow personal golf carts, bicycles, scooters, ATVs, and UTVs.

Golf carts, ATVs, and UTVs must be registered in person at check-in for use, per our insurance requirements. There is a $25 weekend charge.

Proof of insurance and a valid driver's license are required at check-in.
Are there rules for driving on the property?
Always have a designated driver. Ohio's OVI laws are enforced on Mansfield Speedway property. Drive responsibly and at safe speeds at all times.
Where am I allowed to go on the property?
The motocross track, trails, and any areas outside the designated camping grounds are strictly off limits. Anyone found accessing unauthorized areas may be subject to immediate removal from the property.

For the safety and security of all guests, surveillance cameras are in use throughout the entire facility.
Are restrooms available?
Yes. Porta potties are located within the campground for camper use.
Is sewer service available?
There are no sewer hookups at sites. On-site sewage pumping is available through a third-party pumping partner for an additional fee.
Are campfires allowed?
Fire policies are still being finalized and are subject to city and local authority approval. Based on current local regulations, the following rules apply:
  • Campfires cannot be started until after 6:00 PM due to local burn regulations.
  • If permitted, fires must follow all posted rules and be fully extinguished.
  • Fire bans or restrictions may be enforced without notice.
  • Fireworks of any kind are strictly prohibited.
  • Fires must be contained within approved fire rings using only untreated, dry firewood.
  • Fire rings must be at least 16 inches high and surrounded by noncombustible material.
  • Maximum fire diameter of 3 feet.
  • Continuous adult supervision is required at all times.
What are the check-in times?
Campground check-in times for the 57 Special weekend:
  • Thursday, May 28 — 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
  • Friday, May 29 — 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Saturday, May 30 — 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Check-in times vary by event weekend. Check your reservation for the specific dates.
How do I arrive and check in?
Entry into the facility on arrival day is through the main entrances off Crall Road. See the camping map above for arrival routing.
  1. Upon arrival, stop and park in the designated parking area.
  2. Proceed to the ticket booth to check in for your reservation, receive your campsite assignment, sign any necessary waivers, and pick up campground rules and registration forms.
  3. After check-in, return to your vehicle and proceed to the campground access road.
  4. A campground attendant will meet you and help get you parked in your campsite.
When is check-out?
Check-out is no later than 11:00 AM on Sunday, May 31. Your campsite must be cleaned up and left how you found it. Help us keep our facilities clean and welcoming for future campers.
Are pets allowed?
Owners are responsible for control and cleanup at all times. Full pet guidelines will be included with your campground rules at check-in.
