Position Overview
Concessions Workers support food and beverage operations throughout Mansfield Speedway by preparing and serving menu items, assisting guests, handling payments, and maintaining clean and organized concession areas. This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a high-energy, event-driven environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Prepare, cook, and assemble concession food items according to Speedway standards
- Provide friendly, efficient customer service to all guests
- Take customer orders and accurately process cash, card, and mobile payments
- Restock food items, beverages, condiments, and supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of concession stands
- Follow all health, safety, and food-handling regulations
- Assist with opening and closing concession stands before and after events
- Communicate inventory needs, equipment issues, or guest concerns to management
- Support fellow concessions and event staff during peak service periods
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Prior food service or customer service experience preferred, but not required (training provided)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting 25–40 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and event days
- Willingness to follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Must meet minimum age requirements per state food service regulations
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
- Frequent standing and walking for extended periods
- Lifting, bending, reaching, and carrying items up to 50 pounds
- Work environment may be loud, especially during races and large events
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions depending on concession location
Availability
- Weekend and evening availability required for scheduled events.

Independent contractors are not employees of the company and are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes.
