POSITION OVERVIEW

• We are seeking responsible, attentive, and reliable individuals to join our Event Security Team for the 2026 season. Event Security staff will help maintain a safe environment by monitoring entrances and exits, assisting guests, enforcing venue rules, and responding to incidents as needed. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with the public in a fast-paced setting.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Monitor crowds and event areas to ensure safety and security.
• Check tickets, credentials, and access passes at gates and restricted areas.
• Assist guests with directions, questions, and general customer service needs.
• Enforce Mansfield Speedway policies and procedures.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or potential safety hazards.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents or emergencies.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, staff, and local law enforcement when needed.
• Maintain a visible and approachable presence throughout the event.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior security, customer service, or event experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm in high-energy or stressful situations.
• Physically able to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and event days.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety procedures.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Lifting (up to 50 pounds); bending, and reaching
• Will be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
• Workplace environment can be loud at times especially during races and eve

AVAILABILITY

• Weekend and evening availability required for scheduled events.

*This position is offered as a 1099 independent contractor role and is not a W-2 employee position. Independent contractors are not employees of the company and are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes. The company does not withhold or remit income tax, Social Security, Medicare, or unemployment taxes on behalf of contractors.
