POSITION OVERVIEW

  • Food & Beverage Cart Workers are responsible for preparing and serving food, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages to guests from mobile concession carts throughout Mansfield Speedway. This role is essential to creating a positive event-day experience by providing quick, friendly service in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will be customer-focused, reliable, and able to maintain a clean and organized workspace.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Prepare and serve food items, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages according to Mansfield Speedway guidelines.
  • Operate mobile food and beverage carts assigned per shift.
  • Provide friendly, professional, and attentive customer service to all guests.
  • Handle cash, credit, and mobile payments accurately.
  • Restock food items, beverages, condiments, napkins, and supplies as needed throughout the shift.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cart and immediate surrounding area.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and Speedway health guidelines.
  • Assist with cart setup, breakdown, and restocking before and after events.
  • Communicate any equipment issues, inventory shortages, or guest concerns to supervisors promptly.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least at 18 years old.
  • Previous food service or customer service experience preferred but not required (training available).
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, crowded environments.
  • Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and event/race days.
  • Willingness to follow food safety and handling standards.


WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Lifting (up to 50 pounds); bending, and reaching
  • Will be required to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Workplace environment can be loud at times especially during races and events

AVAILABILITY

  • Weekend and evening availability required for scheduled events.

*This position is offered as a 1099 independent contractor role and is not a W-2 employee position. Independent contractors are not employees of the company and are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes. The company does not withhold or remit income tax, Social Security, Medicare, or unemployment taxes on behalf of contractors.
