POSITION OVERVIEW
- Mansfield Speedway is looking for friendly, energetic Pop Attendants to join our Concessions Team. Pop Attendants are responsible for preparing and serving fountain drinks, bottled beverages, and concession snacks while delivering fast and courteous service to guests. This is a great entry-level role for individuals who enjoy working with the public in a fun, fast-paced environment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Greet guests and take drink/snack orders efficiently
- Prepare and serve fountain drinks, bottled beverages, and basic concession items
- Handle cash, card, and mobile payments accurately
- Restock cups, lids, straws, ice, syrups, and other supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workstation
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and handling protocols
- Assist with concession setup, breakdown, and restocking before and after events
- Communicate supply needs, equipment issues, or customer concerns to the manager
- Support teammates during busy periods to ensure smooth operation
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least at 18 years old.
- Customer service or food service experience preferred but not required (training provided)
- Friendly, positive attitude with strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 20–30 lbs
- Dependable, punctual, and available evenings, weekends, and event days
- Willingness to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Must meet minimum age requirements per state food service regulations
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Lifting (up to 50 pounds); bending, and reaching
- Will be required to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Workplace environment can be loud at times especially during races and events
AVAILABILITY
- Weekend and evening availability required for scheduled events.
