Mansfield Speedway Foundation
A 501(c)(3) Initiative of Mansfield Speedway

The Mansfield Speedway Foundation.

The track is the engine. The Foundation is how the horsepower reaches the people who built this place — the families, the racers, the kids in the grandstands, the next generation in the garage.

Our Mission

To harness the legacy and energy of the Mansfield Speedway to fuel community revitalization, preserve the history of motorsports in our region, create real opportunities in racing and the trades, and back charitable initiatives that lift the lives of the people who call this place home.

Adopted by the Founding Board · Mansfield, Ohio

A Race Track Is Never Just A Race Track.

Mansfield Speedway has been a part of North Central Ohio for generations. It's where families spend Friday nights. It's where local racers learn the craft. It's where welders, fabricators, broadcasters, and crew members get their first real shot. It's a working classroom that happens to also be a stadium.

The Foundation exists because that energy belongs to the community. When people come through our gates, they bring dollars, attention, and momentum to Mansfield. We made a decision early: a meaningful share of that needs to flow back out — into scholarships, into trade pathways, into local nonprofits, into the families who make this town what it is.

We are not the track. The track is a private business. The Foundation is a separate, independent 501(c)(3) charitable organization with its own board, its own mission, and its own books. That separation matters. It's what lets the Foundation focus on community impact without the pull of a profit motive — and what lets donors, grantors, and partners trust where their dollars actually go.

We're new. The paperwork is fresh. But the people behind it are not — and the place we're working for has been here a long time. We plan on being here a long time too.

§ 01

What We Stand For.

01

Community Revitalization

Race nights pump people, dollars, and pride into Mansfield. The Foundation directs a portion of that energy back into local economic development — small business support, neighborhood projects, and partnerships that strengthen the community surrounding the track.

02

Heritage & Preservation

Mansfield Speedway carries decades of motorsports history. We document, protect, and tell that story — through archives, exhibits, and recognition of the drivers, builders, and families who shaped racing in North Central Ohio.

03

Racing & Trade Pathways

Welding. Fabrication. Engine work. Broadcast and media production. The track is a working classroom. The Foundation creates programs, scholarships, and apprenticeships that turn paddock curiosity into real career skills.

04

Charitable Impact

From benefit races to direct grants, the Foundation supports causes that matter to our racers, our staff, and our fans — local families in need, first responders, youth programs, and partner nonprofits across Richland County.

— A Note From The Board —

Every dollar we move
has one job — to serve
the public mission.

Ride With Us.

The Foundation is just leaving the grid. If you want to sponsor a program, fund a scholarship, donate to a benefit race, or sit on a committee — this is the lap to get in on.
