POSITION OVERVIEW

  • Ticket Agents are the first point of contact for guests entering the speedway. This role involves selling tickets, scanning pre-purchased tickets, answering guest questions, and providing an excellent customer service experience. If you enjoy interacting with people and working in a fast-paced environment, this position is a great fit.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Sell event tickets at ticket booths or mobile stations.
  • Check in guests by scanning printed or digital tickets.
  • Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payment transactions accurately.
  • Provide guests with event information, seating details, and directions.
  • Resolve minor customer concerns or escalate them to supervisors when needed.
  • Keep ticketing areas clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary materials.
  • Follow speedway policies, ticketing procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a friendly and professional attitude throughout the event.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Customer service or cash-handling experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer or mobile device proficiency (ticket scanning equipment will be provided).
  • Ability to work efficiently during busy crowds and peak times.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends, evenings, and event days.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during events.


WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Lifting (up to 50 pounds); bending, and reaching
  • Will be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Workplace environment can be loud at times especially during races and events

AVAILABILITY

  • Weekend and evening availability required for scheduled events.

*This position is offered as a 1099 independent contractor role and is not a W-2 employee position. Independent contractors are not employees of the company and are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes. The company does not withhold or remit income tax, Social Security, Medicare, or unemployment taxes on behalf of contractors.
