There are events. And then there are moments.
The 57 Special is a moment. The World of Outlaws Late Model Series presented by DIRTVision is coming to Mansfield Speedway on Friday May 29 and Saturday May 30 — and it's the first time the series has ever set foot on this track. Two nights. $12,000 to win Friday. A $57,000-to-win finale on Saturday. And a brand new Ohio dirt oval built for exactly this kind of racing.
This is the crown jewel of Mansfield Speedway's 2026 comeback season. Tickets are live right now.

The 57 Special is a two-night World of Outlaws Late Model event presented by B'laster — Mansfield Speedway's integral sponsor and one of the most iconic names in the automotive aftermarket. The name pays tribute to 1957, the year B'laster was founded right here in Ohio. A Cleveland-born company. An Ohio track. It fits.
It's also the inaugural visit by the World of Outlaws Late Model Series presented by DIRTVision to Mansfield Speedway — and it comes loaded with one of the richest purse structures in dirt Late Model racing history.
The weekend breaks down like this:
Friday, May 29 — Night 1$12,000 to win, $1,000 to start. The lid lifter. Every driver in the field earns guaranteed money before a lap is turned. Get Friday tickets.
Saturday, May 30 — Night 2 (The Finale)$57,000 to win, $5,700 to start. One of the biggest single-race payouts in dirt Late Model racing. If you only come one night, come Saturday. Get Saturday tickets.
Purse structureThe World of Outlaws is known for the most racer-friendly purse structure in dirt Late Model racing — every driver earns guaranteed starting money before a lap is turned. That commitment extends to Mansfield.
Presented by B'laster
B'laster is one of Mansfield Speedway's cornerstone sponsors and the presenting sponsor of the 57 Special. Founded in 1957 in Cleveland, Ohio, B'laster makes the #1-selling penetrant in the United States and has been a staple of the automotive and motorsports world for nearly 70 years. An Ohio company presenting an Ohio event — it doesn't get more fitting than that.
In their own words
Matt Tifft, Mansfield Speedway owner and former NASCAR Cup Series driver, said the event was central to what the 2026 season is supposed to mean.
Matt Tifft — Mansfield Speedway owner"Bringing the World of Outlaws to Mansfield Speedway is such a huge step in launching our comeback season. Racing with the Outlaws myself, I couldn't be more proud to partner with Steve Francis and his group to offer one of the biggest payouts in Late Model competition. We wanted to offer a payout with huge starting money that attracts the best drivers in the country to the Mansfield community that has been so incredibly supportive of bringing this facility back on the map."
Steve Francis — World of Outlaws Series Director"We couldn't be more excited to partner with Matt Tifft and his team at Mansfield to bring the World of Outlaws to such a historic facility. This event further establishes the World of Outlaws as the industry leader in racer payouts and brings our fans another can't-miss event."

Why this event matters
The World of Outlaws Late Model Series is the top touring series in dirt late model racing. These aren't regional competitors — this is the national tour. The drivers who show up for the 57 Special are the best dirt late model racers in the country, chasing a $57,000 payday on Saturday night.
Mansfield Speedway has hosted premier series before. The World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series visited on three occasions in the 1980s. The track hosted NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races from 2004 to 2008. But the World of Outlaws Late Models have never raced here — until now.
This is the kind of event that puts a track on the national map. And it's happening in the first full season back.
Can't make it in person?
Every lap of the 57 Special will be streamed live on DIRTVision. If you can't be in the grandstands, you can still watch every lap from anywhere.

Make it a full weekend
The 57 Special is part of a massive late May stretch at Mansfield Speedway. The weekends before — May 2 and 3 for the Comeback Classic and Night of Destruction, and May 8 and 9 for Mansfield Monster Trucks — mean the track will already be rolling by the time the World of Outlaws arrive.
Stay both nights. Camp on-site. Watch $57,000 change hands Saturday. There's nothing else like it in Ohio this year.
